Between work today, Marissa and I went out for a little bike ride. It looked like it was going to storm at any moment, but in the end it drizzled for about 25 seconds and now there are patches of blue in the cloudy sky. I think we're going to head into Manhattan for lunch tomorrow and maybe a JCrew sample sale. (ok, definitely a JCrew sample sale.)
There's a small park near my house where I like to ride my bike. It's really just the grounds at the Cathedral, but I like it because it's quiet.
I'm so sleepy today, I don't know what my deal is. I think my body still is not used to exercise, but it's been a few weeks since I started pushing myself to jog and do sprints and whatnot. I wish there was a magic button I could press to "be in shape." Working out is.. not fun. Bike riding is fun.. but without the hills it's not such a crazy workout. My town is fllllllat. Super flat. We're pretty much at 10ft above sea level or something like that.
Oh well, I'm down to 4 days until Matt and I leave for California! (Plenty of elevation gain to achieve in Yosemite.. yesss.)
lovely pics!!

ReplyDeleteThat cathedral is gorgeous :)!! <3 And yay for sister bonding time AND JCrew! :D
ReplyDeleteI've been pretty sleepy lately too, and the exercise part might explain it for both of us. I've been trying to do some sprint stuff along with trying to up my volume (totally failing at run a mile and a half + sprint = WTH?!) haha if that button existeddd, gah, so happy!
And pack, pack, pack, and be excited for your trip with Matt!! Safe travels, Sarah! :)
So fun! You better not pass up that sample sale!! Sheesh! Wish we had those here! I know what youean about exercise making you tired. That's what happens to me while everyone else says it gives them more energy. Maybe I'm doing it wrong...
ReplyDeleteread your guest post from Gentri's blog and just wanted to stop by. I love bike rides and if i ever get caught in a storm that would be awesome in my opinion :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteFun, gorgeous photos as usual. I've been tired a ton lately, and I am coming to the conclusion that I'm eating way too much sugar, so I'm going to experiment with that and see how it goes. Also, I might just do too much on a daily basis. We'll see, haha.
ReplyDeleteLooks so relaxing! What a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your trip! So soon!!! You must be getting super anxious
Um if you find that magic in shape button, send it my way :)

I wish I liked to ride bikes... but it always hurts my butt and makes me mad haha. Such pretty pictures. Love the cathedral! I have been looking for sunglasses like those FOREVER. I saw a pair in the store Hot Topic. Every time I go in there I just want to geek out and be a scenester. So much pokemon, Hello Kitty, and other corny things that I love. They also had a pair of bright blue shades with cookie monster peeking in the corner of the lens hahaha.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like such fun! Love summer bike rides :-)
ReplyDeleteI also love the video of Boo below.. too cute <3
