Work in Progress

8.11.2011

Why is it that everything always happens all at once? Either you've got plenty of time on your hands or none at all. I'm at the "none at all" point right now. Between Etsy orders, a freelance gig, and a boutique meeting next week- I am swamped. I'm most concerned about the boutique meeting. It's in Brooklyn and it's a super, super adorable shop. I scored a meeting with the owners to see if they'd be interested in carrying some of my jewelry designs. I'm making a whole bunch of new designs. Thought I'd give you a little preview..  I'm mainly turning my illustrations into necklaces. Goodness, it is a crazy process.

What do you think?

The larger deer necklace came from the illustration below. I'll also be using the fox and a similar style bear.

I love drawing and painting, but I also love jewelry making. Combining the two art forms reallllly makes me happy.

Back to work now.. hope everyone is having a good week!
