Cram Magazine

7.12.2011

The very first issue of Cram Magazine was published last week! You can click through its gorgeous pages right here. I've conveniently left it open to my Yosemite painting. (muahaha)

From their website, Cram is "a niche-less, down-to-earth publication that can serve both as a creative outlet and intellectual, inspirational reading."
Cram Magazine’s mission is to offer creatives of every persuasion an original, un-pretentious magazine packed with intellectual, creative, and tactile brain candy from their peers.
The founders of the magazine, Cindy Raspiller and Jesus Garay, along with wonderful contributors, worked really hard on this issue and it shows. The magazine is beautiful.

I was thrilled to be included in the first issue and will definitely send in a new work for the 2nd.

The best part is that you can submit work as well! (Read the info below on the black/red page to submit your work and learn more here on their website.)

Open publication - Free publishing - More art

Submit your work:
Cindy is a friend of mine. We met at my old job (but actually attended the same college 365 miles away!) I remember her talking about the magazine before it even started coming together. I thought it sounded like an amazing idea, but also quite an undertaking, which I'm sure it was! Great job Cindy, Issue 1 is just as you described it would be!

  14. Sarah congrats on the feature! Hey Yosemite is on my 'trips to do next' list! And yes I totally inspired to go to Grand Canyon because I always wanted to go, but also because one of your past posts, so I totally thought of you while I was there - and Zion and Bryce... wow another must visit parks!

So when you coming to Rio? Please let me know!

    Hugs & kisses from Rio!

  16. Thank you so much for promoting the mag, and for submitting! It truly was a labor of love born out of a yearning to be creative and to encourage others to be creative. Someday I hope I can follow your example and turn this passion into a full-time gig :)

Issue 2 is shaping up quite nicely - we're always looking for new submissions!
