A Lost Feather: Instagram Gallery

I love photos.. all kinds.. snapshots, photographs, film, digital, instagram! I love looking through the photos I've snapped with my iPhone and decided to curate a little gallery of some of my instagram images. I call this gallery "An Angle of Views," because it starts with views of the sky and ends with a view down towards the ground.

I just love the idea that day-to-day snapshots can be transformed into little bits of artwork.

If you have instagram you can see that my favorite filter is the "nashville" filter. I think I originally gravitated towards it because it was called "nashville."

One more thing.. last photo (bottom right)- that blob on the right side is a bunny. It was 7:45am, I hadn't been able to sleep (all night!!) so I watched the sunrise and right before I tried to go to sleep again I saw that guy chillin' on my front lawn so I took his picture from my 3rd floor bedroom. I never said I wasn't crazy. Here.. you can see him better in this large version: (he's cute.)

Are you guys on instagram? Is that even how you say it?... Do you haaaave instagram? Do you instagram? oh geez.. I sound like my mommy.

How have I never even heard of this?? I can be so behind on the times...haha! Those pictures are awesome and I love the transition from sky to ground. :)

And Noooooooo, what is this instagram thing? An app for your phone I guess? How can I get it because that Nashville filter looks the bomb-diggity.

Maybe a lil bit too excited.

I wish I could watch sunrise. Even I feel tired one hour before that or I wake up several hours after that. Still ... my view for sunrise is not nice. I don't have bunnies around.

Love all these photos. I don't think I could be MORE obsessed with instagram... It's a bad addiction.

And that bunny is SO cute! I love seeing bunnies in the wild... weird??

These photos are awesome! I wanted an iphone JUST for instagram haha. I ended up never getting on though because I think me having the ability to be on the internet while in public is potentially dangerous to my already sick internet addiction haha. Also, I still have a flip phone from like 1990.

Your pictures are so adorable! Love the bunny, hey did you really not sleep the whole entire night?

I love Instagram, but since I am on vacation in my Brazil I am not using my iphone (at&t international rates are insane!) So I've been using my big nikon camera and I really wish Instagram would be a software for computer, not just for iphone... I found a similar thing, not sure if you tried yet, it is called Poladroid 9.6 - it is also free and makes polaroid effects... even my profile pic went through this software just to give it some flair...

I love it! And clever having it start in the clouds and progressively "ground" yourself! It looks great! I kind of want it on a huuuuuge canvas in my house now. Thanks :p

Oh my! So awesome! I love you made these into a little gallery view....looks like it could be in an art museum, my friend!

Instagram is so awesome, and Nashville filter is my FAVE, too!! I love the coloring and style.

The 2 city street shots towards the end are my favorite...they looks so Sex & the City. :)

I really considered buying an iPhone just for the instagrams. But I went for BlackBerry after all. In Belgium iPhones are way too expensive: prices start at 600 euro. Too much for this fashionista :-)
