Happy Mother's Day!
5.08.2011
Happy Mother's Day! I hope all the mommies out there enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing day doing whatever it is that makes you happy.. you deserve it!
I spent the day with my mom (and dad!) going to church, having a huge brunch, playing with Boo outside, and then having a giant dinner at a delicious Italian restaurant in town. I am still full, 4 hours later. I wish my sister could have been here for the day, but she is busy studying for a Monday morning exam (and she's in Philly.)
I love my mom. She's the best. I hang out with her all the time and since I've gotten older we really are more like friends.. unless she puts on a pair of pants that I banned about 7 years ago.. they make mom jeans look hot. Love you mom!
Funny pants or not, my mom is the most supportive, dedicated, fun, and loving lady in my world. My sister and I are lucky! I hope I can be a mother like her someday.. minus that one pair of funny pants.

Mmm ok, I can't keep my mouth shut.. I'm excited for tomorrow's post! It will list the 10 Things I Love to see in a Photograph! aaand I'll talk about how to achieve them! Can't wait to wrap it up.. it's been in my "edit posts" section for a few weeks now.
Until tomorrow.. <3

ReplyDeleteHappy mommy's day to your mom! I am glad mine is here visiting me :D
And bout your comment, yeap, I studied biology and now I'm doing medical research, which keeps me reading stuff like that all day. Sometimes interesting, sometimes it gets me tired and bored. Best feeling of that is when you get results that you can understand!
Waiting to see your next post. And taking some time to comment and write some stuff while my mom is resting her jetlag.
Have a lovely week!

ReplyDeleteAnd I'm glad you had a great day with your family, minus Marissa (insert sad face). And I was actually gonna ask you about photography! What cameras would be good to start out on and which do you use most often?
P.S. - You'll be a GREAT mom one day! Without the funny mom pants hahah xD I love kids...I'm so excited to have a family when I'm older :D!

ReplyDeleteI am so in love with these Mother's day posts. Makes me wish that I had done one too :) But there is always next year.
ReplyDeleteWhen you know you want to do something creative, it's really hard (at least for me) to settle for just one thing. I'm interested in way too many things. I am studying graphic design though. It's sort of funny. That's what my major started out as, then I studied Architecture for two years and then now I'm back. But at least I know this is right for me now :)
so cute. you're momma's beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteAww, that photo is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for your post either! Did you get to go to California yet?...I hope I can catch the documentary your friends made called "Catching Hell". My husband lived in Chicago for a bit and misses Wrigley Field! I sure hope I can see Chicago someday. Also, I have been meaning to tell you that I loved your outfit for the premier :)
ReplyDeleteI love all the fantastic mother's day posts around here.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteHugs & kisses from Rio!
