Fresh Air, Croquet & Pups

5.01.2011

I love weekends so much. Weekends should happen way more often than they do! Matthew, Boo and I drove up to Connecticut on Friday evening and spent the entire mini vacation with Alexi, Dave and Finn.. so great! I am now insanely exhausted and don't know how I am typing this, but that's ok.. moving on!

Finn, the new puppy is that little golden fluff in my arms in the first photo. Boo and Finn got along pretty well even though Boo loves to sleep and Finn loves to bounce around and tug on his ears and jump on him. Funny little nuggets.

Here's a glimpse of how we spent the first part of today (before the drive back down to NY.. which, by the way, was not as sunny and warm as CT!)

Seriously, how fluffly is that animal!? I love him. I want one. Boo is the doggie love of my life, of course.. maybe I can get him a fluffy outfit. No, that would be absurd. I just love the fluffiness of that animal above here.

Dave set up a game of Croquet (which I keep wanting to call Cricket) and we played a round in the sunny sun shining wonderfulness. Matt and I won. Just thought I'd put that out there. Alexi did finish the round first, but too bad- it was a combined score with our teammates muahahaha.

After the game we just sat around on the lawn for a while, playing with the puppies and chatting. I wish they lived closer! I could get used to them making us delicious breakfasts every morning and planning fun adventures. Just kidding! Well, no that's true.. but really, I miss them. They are such good friends and I'd love for us to live closer to each other. Also, Boo needs Finn to keep him in shape!

Hey, Happy May! Isn't that so insane.. May already?
More from this activity packed weekend later.. I'll need to relive it during the week when I'm up to my nose in work. Rar.

  5. Adorable puppy! Also, never accept if anyone asks you to play cricket. I learned after living in Australa for two months that cricket is serious business. Seriously CONFUSING business.
