Home Sweet.. Time For a Trip

4.29.2011

If I didn't create this magical place in photoshop it would be a glorious view to wake up to each morning. I have the bottom portion of the view, so I'm happy, but one day I'd love to live somewhere closer to the mountains.

(Marisa's post got me thinking about this...)
I'll probably never live near those particular mountains in Washington state, but that's ok. I used to really want to move somewhere faraway- California, Colorado, New Mexico. I've come to realize that, although those states are wonderful, they are not home for me; not the east coast. That does not mean that I won't travel the globe, but I'll be happy and grateful to call NY (or at least the east coast) home.

I'm sooo happy that later this evening I'll be traveling up to northern Connecticut with my favorite boys to visit Alexi and Dave in their home state.  I think this weekend is going to be nothing short of spectacular. I know- high expectations, but seriously- those expectations will be met after just seeing our friends. YAY!

Happy Weekend <3

  3. On one hand, I feel the same way as you about home. Worcester as a city really isn't much, but we have such an amazing community and I truly feel fulfilled living here. On the other hand, there is so much to explore, and there are so so many amazing places I would love to live. But when it comes down to it, I don't think anywhere is worth living if you're not surrounded by people to share it with. That's how I feel anyway! :)

Have a great weekend! Enjoy the weather, spring is HERE!!

  6. I really wish that photo was real. I would move there in a heartbeat. Even if I had to live in a tent. Haha! I totally understand the needing to live where "home" is. I'm the same. :)
