Sandal Traitor

I am a sandal traitor.

If you follow me on instagram you might have seen a photo of my favorite sandals that I posted just last week. The caption that accompanies said photo reads: "It might be cold and raining, but I refuse to stop wearing sandals until at least October."

I think on that particular day it was about 65 degrees and raining. Well, 65 degrees isn't so bad.. I can wear sandals in 65 degrees and be completely comfortable. Today on the other hand it is about 56 degrees and gorgeously sunny and I am in boots, knit leggings, and a sweater. It is only September 16th and I am a sandal traitor. Hello boots.

    I fear the same goes for me. Wednesday I wore sandals and my toes froze. Boots are pretty too though :)

    i am so, so the same!
    just last night i was grilling outside (and it was freezing, dont ask me why) and my little toes were SO cold in my flip flops. i had no choice but to put on my fleecy mocassins. gasp! please forgive me, sandals.

    hehe well I think its smart not to wear sandals so you wont catch a cold or something.

    Haha I love this post! The title totally made me giggle. :) But you know, I'm sure your sandals would understand that on some days, the sandals just doesn't do it enough unlike the boots. ;) With that said, I love your boots! x

    I'm going to tell those sandals!! They'll be heartbroken!!!!!!! But honestly, they look pretty darn cool and your boots look pretty darn cool too. They're probably friends anyway and hang out in your wardrobe together. I'm sure they're ok with sharing your feet.

    baha! sandal traitor in full effect and all out awesome to "boot"....pun intended! i've started to cover up my digits too and it's kinda sad but mmmmmmmm love the feeling of wooly socks again. only thing is i've ingested so much salt over the summer my calves seem to have enlarged and those darn boots of mine had to be extra tugged to get on ; ) love the instagramz, i say proceed until apprehended! xoox ♥
