This year's Christmas card! I drew each of these little icons by hand and scanned them into Photoshop to handle the rest. Originally, I made the entire card dark green, but I just finished a class in color theory- I had to apply some of my new knowledge, hence the split complimentary colors. I love graphic design. Merry Christmas!
For some reason every time I read your blog..the writing is a little off.. as in your text..haha! NOT your writing.. But I always see jarbled text on the right side of your images.. Maybe it's just me! Anyway! This is so cute Sarah! You're talented!

I love it! It was very exciting for me to see the original hand-drawn graphics first, then come visit your blog and see how it all turned out! I really enjoy seeing the process behind things so I'm super appreciative of you sharing it!
ReplyDeleteIt makes everything very approachable and more human. Thanks!

Oh these are so adorable! I love the personal touch to your cards :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing us a "behind the scenes" photo. It never occurred to me to draw something in solid black before throwing it in photoshop. But it makes sense. I'll have to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
