Springtime Happenings

4.14.2011

Just some things I'm seriously looking forward to this Spring (or, well- when the weather starts acting like it's Spring..)

long bike rides, challenging hikes, sunset hikes, friend's new puppy, ny botanical garden, italian food on Arthur Ave, friend's wedding, mini road trips, "catching hell" premier @ tribeca film festival, mini reunion, long walks with boy and dog, friend's birthday @ a mets game even though i'm a yankee fan, playing golf-what?, sister coming home, jewelry line launch

One of the things I wrote up there was "playing golf." I probably mean going to the golfing range. I don't really know.

Matthew is reaaaaallllly good at golf. Like, for real. He loves golf so much.. he loves it so much that he even got me into it. I know everything there is to know about golf- who played in the Masters, who won the masters, who is sponsored by what companies. I just don't know how to play. Ha.

On our very first date we went to a golfing range (followed by dinner.) That was allllmost 2 years ago and that was the only time we went "golfing." Opps. He was probably thinking "great, a girl who likes to go to the range!" And then we never went back.. hahahaha.

  1. Hi Sarah!

The one with the 2 girls and the dog seems to be everyone's favorite. Who doesn't like a picture with a cute dog in it? I mean I used to be addicted to cuteoverload.com.

Thanks for the tip. I will check out picnik. I'm still trying to figure out all the buttons on my camera. Hopefully my photography class in June will help A LOT or else I'll be stuck with an expensive camera that I only know how to use Auto mode on...hahaha.

You and Matthew sound so cute! It's always funny how much we go out of our comfort zone just to impress someone we like.

Oh and also, I really like that picture with the bison (?) in the middle of the road. OK, don't make fun of me if they aren't bison.

Not sure what got into me. Haha! And what's this about a jewelry line?? Is it yours?? Sounds so exciting!! :D And I LOVE my steve madden boots too!! One of my favorites!

  5. Thank you so much for commenting back :) Yayy for yellow nail polish! I guess we can make it an all-season colour, to brighten up our days, however the weather may be, hehe.

That's a really funny golf story! And those are wonderful things to look forward to. I hope you have the most amazing spring this year!

  6. sometimes girls have no choice and pretend a little bit that they like what they naturally don't - I think it's pretty normal though!
My ex-boyfriend was a huuuge fan of a hockey and a player as well, so at first I had to pretend I love it...but eventually I really started to love it!;)You never know!

    best wishes,

  10. Oh wow... I'd love to try golf! I always joke with my guy friends that the only reason I don't play is because I'll be better than them and I want to give them a chance!
Um... That's the story I'm sticking too!
    HAHAHA
