An Impossible Dream

2.28.2011

Lately I've been thinking about how I got to where I am right now. It was less then 1 year ago that I was sitting in a cubicle daring to imagine my impossible dream of being a full time artist.

After years of day dreaming I finally came to terms with the fact that I would simply not be happy until I followed this dream that was constantly taking over my thoughts. Now my days are filled with things like silver, gold, acrylic paint, canvas, brushes, glitter, glue, and colored pencils. I'm constantly working throughout the day, but I also take breaks to take Boo for long walks and catch up on some of my favorite blogs.

My newest goal is to have a more cohesive product line. I have so many thoughts and it can be hard to harness one and turn it into the basis of a line, but I'm working on it.

Ah, I'm just so happy that this life-changing decision is behind me. It was really tough at first, but I did it and it's time for the rest of the adventure! I've also been blessed with an amazing family and friends, who have been extremely supportive of my endeavors.
